The Simple Practice

My practice must be happiness.

But not happy because life gives me what I want — happy because I meet whatever life gives me with a fully open heart.

I say thank you, not because it’s easy, but because I trust.

I let joy arise not from circumstance, but from the grace of my willingness to receive everything as an offering from Love itself.
